About Scott McKenna

Scott McKenna is a Founding Partner of 4 Reform and a United States Air Force veteran who provided security for Air Force One, Air Force One Bravo (NEACP), Cobra Ball, his military police duties including protecting his base and air base ground defense as well as a leader on the EST (Emergency Services Team which is comparable to SWAT in the civilian world). He also served in two desert campaigns.

Raised in the Catholic faith, Scott attended Catholic school and served as an altar boy. He earned the rank of Eagle Scout and spent two years as a volunteer ranger at H. Roe Bartle Scout Camp in Osceola, Missouri, where he taught three-day wilderness survival courses.

Scott is a licensed mediator and a licensed private investigator with approximately 30 years of investigative experience. He also worked as a fugitive recovery agent for more than a decade. Throughout his career, he has volunteered his time and resources to teach free annual self-defense classes, helping people develop the skills to protect themselves.

As the founder and owner of Sentinel Private Investigations & Nationwide Process Service, his work centers on examining evidence, interviewing witnesses, documenting facts, and helping clients and attorneys understand complex situations. His commitment to serving others also includes former volunteer work with the Pinellas County Guardian ad Litem program and Big Brothers Big Sisters. These experiences inform his belief that protecting children requires careful investigation, fair procedures, and accountability.

Scott’s advocacy is deeply personal. As a father of two, he has experienced prolonged separation from his children during family court proceedings involving allegations he maintains are false. His struggle to preserve his relationship with his children—and the emotional, financial, and professional consequences of that struggle—has driven his commitment to reform. Working alongside fellow Founding Partner Kia Cassini, Scott brings an investigator’s attention to evidence and a father’s determination to legislative advocacy, public education, and demands for meaningful oversight. His goal is a family court system that protects children, treats mothers and fathers fairly, and safeguards the relationships between children and their safe, loving parents.
